My First Knitting Project

My First Knitting Project

This was the first project I completed. I was in a race against time to finish this for my 39th birthday. We spent the day in San Francisco and I even went to a fancy knitting store where they complimented me on my work.

As the day wore on it began to stretch and become looser. By evening, stitches started to unravel. Because it was a corkscrew type of yarn, it was also diificult to unravel all of it and start from scratch. I managed to salvage enough to make a scarf.

I learned that you can't rush knitting!
